Diving has shaped my life for more than three decades, taking me from the waters of the UK to extraordinary destinations around the world. Through Sea Fever Travel, I share that experience and my enthusiasm for discovering what lies beneath the surface.
I became a PADI Instructor in 1993, aged 18, and a PADI Course Director in 1999. My early career took me to Spain and then South Africa, where I helped teach some of the country’s first PADI Instructor Development Courses following the lifting of sanctions. I later became a partner in Simply Scuba before developing Sea Fever Dive Lodge and Dive Centre, which I ran until its sale in 2005.
Alongside recreational diving, I built a career in commercial diving, progressing through saturation diving, supervision, operational leadership and technical authority roles. Working around the world has given me a broad understanding of diving operations, equipment and safety—experience I bring to the trips we plan.
Teaching remains a particular passion. In 2025, I trained more than 130 diving professionals, earning Platinum PADI Course Director status. There is something deeply rewarding about helping others build their confidence and turn their love of diving into a career.
When it comes to my own travels, Maldives liveaboards, Komodo and Raja Ampat are firm favourites. I love the variety diving offers: encounters with large marine life, colourful reefs, and the tiny, easily overlooked creatures that make you slow down and look closer.
Sea Fever Travel grew from that lifelong connection to the ocean. For me, a memorable dive holiday brings together wonderful diving, good company and the confidence that the details have been thoughtfully arranged.

Diving opened up a world I never expected to become such a big part of my life. When I first tried it five years ago, I wasn’t even sure I would enjoy it. That changed in the Maldives, where colourful coral reefs, incredible marine life and the peaceful feeling of being underwater completely captured my heart.
What began as a holiday adventure soon became a passion. Every dive offered something different, from encounters with marine life to beautiful underwater landscapes. The more I explored, the more I wanted to discover—and share with others.
On 3 May 2025, I became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. It was a proud milestone and an opportunity to introduce others to the ocean, help them build confidence and experience the excitement I remember from my own first dives.
At Sea Fever Travel, I look after reservations, helping our guests bring their travel plans together. I enjoy being part of that journey, sharing the anticipation of an upcoming trip and helping people prepare for an experience they will remember.
My own diving adventures have taken me to Komodo and Raja Ampat, where liveaboard trips have become a particular favourite. There is something special about waking up surrounded by the ocean, exploring spectacular dive sites and ending the day swapping stories with fellow divers.
For me, a wonderful dive holiday is about the whole experience: the places you discover, the people you meet and the friendships you take home. That is what I love about Sea Fever Travel, and I look forward to helping you find your next underwater adventure.
