  • Diving Conditions: Water temperatures vary seasonally—cooler (16–24 °C / 60–75 °F) from June–November, warmer (21–30 °C / 70–86 °F) December–May. Currents can be strong (1–5 knots). Visibility ranges from 10 m to 30 m (30–90 ft), occasionally over 30 m in ideal spots.

  • Dive Sites: World-famous dive spots at Wolf and Darwin Islands—hammerheads, whale sharks, manta rays, mola mola—plus opportunities to see sea lions and marine iguanas.

  • Type of Diving: Challenging currents and colder water—ideal for experienced divers. Some calmer, beginner-friendly dive sites are also available elsewhere in the archipelago.
